Citibank of Pakistan wanted to have a multi-user scalable system to automate their purchase requisition, procurement and budgeting process for the operation of their various departments, countrywide.
Softnology implemented a solution at the GIS department of Citibank which stores, manages and organizes data in order to efficiently maintain their Item Requisition process and to provide data in the form of information to help management for decision support based on analytical and summary reports.
Main database servers were deployed at Karachi and the rest of the cities connect to the system through WAN connectivity.
Basic requirements of the users were:

AvaQuote
American Valley Aviation, Inc. (USA)
This is a system specifically built for aviation related companies. The system handles a part right from the first Customer request for quote (RFQ) to the final Invoice and even Returns. The system provides inventory control information for master parts only. However the user was using the alternate parts for all the transactions.
The system also provides a Parts Central screen where, for a particular part, part info, list of alternate parts, rates statistics, picture, history of Sales, Purchase, Customer Quotes and available stock lines.
The whole system is built for restricted user access. All the modules and some important fields are also restricted on user’s level.
The system also supports multiple billing and shipping addresses per customer/vendor and the user can select a different address for a customer/vendor at the time of transaction.
